Při příležitosti 60. výročí smrti – de facto kruté popravy – patera Jana Buly byla v kostele sv. Jana Křtitele v Lukově u Moravských Budějovic o svatojánské pouti sloužena mše svatá. Hlavním celebrantem byl brněnský děkan Mons. Václav Slouk, koncelebrovalo sedm kněží. Obecní úřad vydal k tomuto jubileu pamětní medaili. Autorem medaile je Mgr. Vojtěch Dařbujan, DiS., ražbu provedla Mincovna Dukát.
